I'm an Italian 33 years old, 10+ years experienced developer and a .NET enthusiast since its first releases.
I've started the programming adventure developying (or trying to) small games as an hobbyist, since I was affascinated from old consoles like Intellivision and Atari.
(I was never really able to code any game that could be nearly satisfying, but it was funny)
I moved from BASIC to PASCAL and finally to C-like and OOP coding languages, and started my first experience in real-world programming when I was 22, developing and customizing billing and order-collecting applications on DOS-based mobile devices.
My second experience was on a restaurant management windows application. I coded also the software on RF portable devices in a language whose name I don't even remember... (this was funny, too!)
Finally I moved to the Web World on legacy ASP and then I met .NET and it was love at first sight.
While developing always growing-in-complexity projects, I made my tries in the MCP certification path, until I got MCPD - Web. I took advantage of a Mobile 5.0 Development Beta exam to get an MCTS Charter Member in that field.
I'm now owner of a small software house, and the current challanging project is a Silverlight and Flash based conferencing system that is catching many approvals from the first customers. I really believe Silverlight 3.0 new features will boost the project.
I hope I can help the .NET community with my contributes in this blog and participating in the .NET related forums.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!
Happy coding!
